"Take It In"
This totem style sculpture stands 6' tall and is a combination of glass, metal, rock, cement and a lightning arrestor. I really enjoyed the process of creating each piece.

Latest Sculpture
Super excited to
finish this sculpture. I cast the base in concrete this time and I think
I will play with carving the base for a more rustic look in the future. Several
other sculptures in the works … thinking BIG!

Flying Pig Gallery Delivery
I have finished my sculptures for the Flying Pig Gallery and delivered them yesterday.
The photos don't show all the metal work detail.
It's a must stop on your way to Door County. You can't miss the big red winged pig.
Beautiful shot from the balcony of the second floor with even more impressive artwork. We are planning a trip back there this summer when all of the plants in the garden green and blooming. My work will be featured in the garden for the summer months.

Gallery Day
Spent some time at the gallery today. Very excited for all the changes to come. Next art crawl is coming up soon. I will have some of my new work at the crawl! These are some of my favorite pieces at the gallery right now. I love that they remind me of a mosaic.

Studio time!
Spent some quality time in the studio today. These will be some more indoor outdoor sculptures. The colors will be more vibrant than what is shown here.

Ok here it is! I'm so excited about the rectangle ones on the right. I had worked on some watercolor paintings with this same design and couldn't wait to see them in glass. The marigold and blue glass will be a bowl in about 24 hours from now after one more turn in the kiln. I know you just can't wait to see the finished bowl right?! The other things on the shelf are works in progress.

Can't wait to peek tomorrow morning!
What do you want for Christmas this year?
Maybe St. Nick will put at beautiful fused glass star in your stocking.
Have you been good?

Art Crawl Today!
If you haven't made it to an Art Crawl this yet this year now is your chance. October Art Crawl in Waukesha is the best one of the year. I have some new art pieces on display at Artivina, come by today and take a look. Take the free trolley ride around town, eat some great food, catch some tunes from some local musicians and enjoy some art.

Tea Tasting and Art Show!
I have been invited to be part of this fun event. The Tea House is a great little old brick house here in East Troy that is dedicated to the art of well being. They are a great resource for alternative healing and well being.
